Bring sunshine into your home even on the darkest day with the unique Sansevieria 'Star Canary'. This houseplant is a true wonder of nature – its new leaves bloom in a bright yellow, almost canary bird color, gradually becoming elegantly green over time. Its compact, star-shaped rosette makes it an excellent interior accent and an unforgettable gift that will care for air purity with almost no effort in maintenance.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
☀️ Light: Bright, diffused light. To keep the plant’s characteristic yellow tone, it needs good lighting but protect it from direct, scorching midday sun rays.
-
💧 Watering: Rare. Water only when the soil is completely dry. Better to water too little than too much – sansevierias are exceptionally drought-tolerant houseplants.
-
🌡️ Temperature/Humidity: Prefers warmth (18–25°C). Misting is not necessary as the plant adapts well to dry indoor air.
-
🐾 Pets: Not pet-friendly (may cause irritation if tasted).
🏠 MOST SUITABLE ROOM
-
Bright living room, where its unique color can serve as a central design element on a coffee table.
-
Office desk, to add energy and liveliness to the work environment.
-
Bedroom, where sansevieria produces oxygen at night, helping to improve sleep quality.
